As the NFL season rears its head on America, anyone in the UK with an interest in American football probably has their calendar marked for October 28, 2012 – the date when the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take the pitch at Wembley Stadium.

Since 2005, the NFL has played at least one game “almost” annually in London. Just last week, the Jacksonville Jaguars announced plans with the league to continue the London series through 2016.
