The East Carolina Pirates dance team is not a cheerleader team, but they warrant inclusion in this anyway.

East Carolina University, located in Greenville, NC, has the nickname of the Pirates.  ECU plays in Conference USA where it is a contender for the football title almost every year.  If there were a contender for the prettiest cheerleaders title, the Pirates would be in the action every year!

ECU’s sports teams, nicknamed the Pirates, compete in NCAA Division FBS as a full–member of the 12 team Conference USA. Pirates football is played in the 43,000 seat Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
